Integrity & Anti-Match-Fixing

Last updated: 29 May 2026

Fair, honest markets are essential to wagering. PAIMERBETT (Paimer Bookmaking Pty Ltd, licensed by Liquor & Gaming NSW under licence 5521/2023/WB) is committed to protecting the integrity of every market we offer and to cooperating with sports controlling bodies, racing authorities and law enforcement. This page works with our Terms & Conditions.

1. Our commitment

We support the National Policy on Match-Fixing in Sport and the integrity arrangements that apply to licensed wagering in New South Wales. We only offer markets we are permitted to offer, and we work with controlling bodies to keep them clean.

2. Prohibited conduct

You must not use your account to engage in or benefit from conduct that undermines market integrity, including:

  • betting on, or attempting to corrupt, an event you can influence (for example as a participant, official or insider);
  • using inside information not available to the public;
  • match-fixing, spot-fixing or arranging a contrived outcome;
  • collusion between accounts, syndicate betting designed to evade limits, or use of bots and automated systems;
  • placing bets on behalf of someone who is prohibited from betting.

3. Match-fixing is a criminal offence

Engaging in conduct that corrupts a betting outcome is a serious criminal offence in New South Wales under the Crimes Act 1900 (NSW), and cheating at gambling is an offence under the Betting & Racing Act 1998 (NSW). We report suspected offences to the relevant authorities.

4. Monitoring & controls

We monitor betting patterns for unusual activity, apply market and bet-type controls, and may restrict, refuse or limit bets. We may require identity and source-of-funds information (see our AML/CTF & Source of Funds page) as part of integrity checks.

5. Information sharing

To protect integrity, we may share information about betting activity with sports controlling bodies, racing authorities (for example Racing NSW), our regulator Liquor & Gaming NSW, and law enforcement, as permitted or required by law and our integrity agreements. We handle personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.

6. Sports integrity & product agreements

We hold integrity and product (Approved Betting Partner) agreements with the controlling bodies of the major sports we offer. These set out the markets we may offer, integrity obligations, information-sharing arrangements and product fees. They include agreements with:

  • NRL — National Rugby League
  • AFL — Australian Football League
  • Cricket Australia — international and Big Bash League cricket
  • Football Australia / the A-Leagues — soccer
  • Tennis Australia — the Australian Open and ATP/WTA events
  • Rugby Australia — Super Rugby and Test matches
  • National Basketball League (NBL)
  • Motorsport Australia — Supercars

7. Race-fields approvals

For racing, we publish race-fields information and pay race-fields fees under approvals and agreements with the relevant racing controlling bodies, including:

  • Racing NSW — thoroughbreds (NSW)
  • Racing Victoria — thoroughbreds (VIC)
  • Racing Queensland — thoroughbreds (QLD)
  • Racing and Wagering Western Australia — thoroughbreds (WA)
  • Thoroughbred Racing SA — thoroughbreds (SA)
  • Tasracing — thoroughbreds (TAS)
  • Harness Racing NSW, Harness Racing Victoria and their state counterparts — harness racing
  • Greyhound Racing NSW, Greyhound Racing Victoria and their state counterparts — greyhound racing

8. Voiding bets & account action

Where a market is corrupted, void under the relevant rules, or affected by an obvious pricing or data error, we may void affected bets and return stakes, consistent with our Terms & Conditions — Bets, odds & errors. We may suspend or close accounts involved in prohibited conduct and withhold winnings derived from it.

If you have information about possible match-fixing or corrupt betting, please contact us in confidence at support@paimerbett.com. You can also report match-fixing concerns to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or, for race-related matters, to the relevant racing controlling body.
