1. Who can use PAIMERBETT

Wagering services are restricted to verified account holders aged 18 or older. You must also be physically located in Australia when you place a bet. We confirm your age and identity from a government-issued identity document before betting is enabled — a tick-box is never enough — and we screen every applicant against BetStop, the National Self-Exclusion Register. One account per person; accounts are personal and non-transferable.

2. Responsible wagering tools

Every account includes free tools to help you stay in control. You'll find them under Account → Responsible Gambling.

  • Deposit limits — set a daily, weekly or monthly cap. Lower limits apply immediately; increases take effect only after a 7-day cooling-off period, as required by Australian law. Customers are prompted annually to review their deposit limit setting.
  • Deposit-limit prompts — you choose a limit when you join, and we remind you to review it.
  • Activity statements — an on-demand summary of your deposits, withdrawals, bets, wins and losses over a chosen period, so you can see exactly where you stand. Statements are also provided periodically to your registered email.
  • Take a break — a self-imposed time-out from 24 hours up to several weeks. You can't bet or deposit while a break is active.
  • Self-exclusion — exclude from PAIMERBETT for a period you choose, or exclude from every licensed Australian online and phone wagering provider at once through BetStop. See our Self-Exclusion page.

3. Betting & settlement rules

Bets are settled on the official result once it is confirmed by the relevant controlling body. The summary below sets out how the main market types and sports are settled. Where a specific market has its own rules, those rules are shown on the market and prevail over this summary.

General rules (all sports)

  • Fixed odds — winning bets are paid at the price taken at the time the bet was accepted, regardless of later market movement.
  • Abandoned, postponed or void events — if a fixture does not take place within the period stated in the market (typically the scheduled day, or 48 hours for some competitions), affected bets are voided and stakes returned, unless the result is already determined.
  • Dead heats — stake is divided by the number of dead-heated runners/selections and settled at the full odds on the divided stake.
  • Palpable errors — bets struck at an obviously incorrect price may be voided and stakes returned, as set out in our Terms & Conditions.

Settlement by market type

MarketHow it settles
Head-to-head / match resultOn the team or player who wins the listed event. Drawn results settle the "Draw" option where offered; otherwise the market is void.
Line / handicapThe handicap is applied to the final score; the selection must cover the line. Exact-line pushes are refunded.
Totals (over/under)On the combined points/goals/runs versus the posted total. Exact totals push and are refunded unless a half-line is used.
Futures / outrightsOn the official final standing or trophy winner. Non-runners are void; "all-in, run or not" markets are not refunded for non-participation where stated.
Player / scorer propsThe named participant must take part. If they do not appear, the bet is void and the stake returned.

Settlement by sport

SportKey settlement points
Rugby league (NRL) & rugby unionSettled on 80-minute result unless a market states otherwise. Golden-point/extra time counts only for "include extra time" markets.
Australian rules (AFL)Settled on the result after any siren-confirmed final score, including scheduled extra time in finals where applicable.
SoccerMatch markets settle on 90 minutes plus stoppage time (not extra time or penalties) unless specified.
CricketSettled on the official result, including any DLS/competition-rule adjustment. Reduced-overs matches settle if a result is declared.
Basketball (NBL/NBA)Match markets include overtime unless stated. A game must be completed (or competition rules declare a result) for action.
TennisIf a player retires or is disqualified before the match is completed, markets settle per our match-completion rule shown on the market.
Racing (thoroughbred, harness, greyhound)Win and place settle on the official placings after correct weight/protests. Non-runners are void. Place terms depend on field size. "Tote/Best Tote" markets settle at the declared dividend.

4. Payments & KYC

You can only deposit and withdraw in your own name. We do not accept credit cards — Australian law prohibits credit-card deposits for online wagering. Full detail is on our Account & Withdrawals page.

Limits

  • Deposits — a minimum deposit applies per transaction; your maximum is governed by any deposit limit you have set. You can lower or raise that limit at any time (increases take effect after a 7-day cooling-off period).
  • Withdrawals — a minimum withdrawal amount applies. Withdrawals are returned to a verified payment source in your own name. We may set or review limits where required for AML/CTF or responsible-service reasons.

Identity verification (KYC)

Before you can bet — and before we process withdrawals — we verify your identity under the AML/CTF Act 2006 (Cth), usually electronically using your driver licence or Medicare card. We may request additional documents or source-of-funds information. See our AML/CTF & Identity page.

5. Account closure

You can close your account at any time by emailing support@paimerbett.com or using our contact form.

  • What happens to your balance — before we close the account, any remaining withdrawable balance is paid back to a verified payment source in your own name. We may complete identity and AML/CTF checks before paying out. Pending bets are allowed to run to settlement.
  • Closing vs self-excluding — closing for convenience is different from self-exclusion. If your reason relates to gambling harm, use self-exclusion or BetStop so the closure cannot simply be reversed.
  • Inactive & dormant accounts — if your account has no log-in, bet, deposit or withdrawal for an extended period it is treated as inactive and then dormant. We will attempt to contact you and return any remaining balance to you; unclaimed funds are handled in accordance with applicable unclaimed-money law.
